Another great essay William. And thank you for acknowledging those of us old white folks who accept that our race is responsible for racism. I sometimes am afraid to get into a discussion about it because I will, without trying, begin to try to be a likeable white person who feels the guilt and wants you to like me anyway. Kind of perverse. So I write occasionally about racism and follow writers like yourself, who tell the truth and in the long run make a difference. I hope.
