Great story. As an old white man who used to live in Chicago, the areas are familiar, and it is fascinating io have knowledge of your granddad and these well-known authors and activists. It is good that Black folks have forced their way forward for recognition, no thanks to my people, my ancestors. Sorry for that. Keep writing, keep showing and developing your talents.
