I think you are right Carol. It is just a way to attract more writers to Medium. It is after all, a .com. I also write because I love writing. I would encourage you to keep writing and enjoying what you do. If one is not really an entrepreneur, one can’t become one. Some people like the business of it. I enjoy submitting to a publisher, something I really work on, not just something I spew out to increase sales. So, not making money but enjoying what I do
